The delivery of vital services to our citizens is ultimately the result of a partnership between the departments of City government and the Vendor community, which provides the goods and services needed to support City operations. The Mission of the Purchasing Department is to ensure value for the City of Dayton departments by procuring goods and services at the lowest competitive price from competent vendors meeting specifications.  Activities of the personnel in the Purchasing Department shall be performed in a manner that guarantees the integrity of the purchasing process, and that all vendors and City personnel are treated equitably and professionally. This information will assist in a better understanding of the process to be followed to do business with the City of Dayton and also help Vendors or suppliers understand the role and responsibility involved in purchasing goods and services by the City of Dayton. The City encourages all companies to register as vendors and to participate in the competitive process initiated by the City to enable its effective and efficient operation.

 NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP #2022-6 SALE OF DAYNET MUNICIPAL BROADBAND NETWORK

The City of Dayton proposes to sale Daynet Municipal Broadband Network a 65-mile Fiber-to-the-Premise Feeder/Distribution Network.

Sealed Bid Proposals in will be received by the City of Dayton, City Secretary at Dayton City Hall, 117 Cook Street, Dayton, Texas 77535 until 3:00 PM local time Thursday, September 29, 2022. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly read in City Hall Conference Room at 3:00 p.m. on the same day as bids are received for furnishing all material, equipment, labor and supervision necessary for completion of the above-named projects.

Sealed bids should be addressed to the City Secretary, City of Dayton, and shall be labeled "City of Dayton, Daynet Municipal Broadband Network Bid DO NOT OPEN"

No bid proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. The City of Dayton reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the City.
