The City of Dayton proposes to sell Daynet Municipal Broadband Network a 65-mile Fiber-to-the-Premise Feeder/Distribution Network.
Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Dayton, City Secretary at Dayton City Hall, 117 Cook Street, Dayton, Texas 77535 until 3:00 PM local time Thursday, July 13, 2023. In order to properly respond to this RFP, the bidder must submit a PDF (electronic) version of the proposal on a USB drive and three (3) hard copies of the proposal. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly read in City Hall Conference Room at 3:00 p.m. on the same day as bids are received for furnishing all material, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary for the completion of the above-named projects.
Sealed bids should be addressed to the City Secretary, City of Dayton, and shall be labeled "City of Dayton, Daynet Municipal Broadband Network BidDO NOT OPEN"
No bid proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. The City of Dayton reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids or accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the City.
