The delivery of vital services to our citizens is ultimately the result of a partnership between the departments of City government and the Vendor community, which provides the goods and services needed to support City operations. The Mission of the Purchasing Department is to ensure value for the City of Dayton departments by procuring goods and services at the lowest competitive price from competent vendors meeting specifications.  Activities of the personnel in the Purchasing Department shall be performed in a manner that guarantees the integrity of the purchasing process, and that all vendors and City personnel are treated equitably and professionally. This information will assist in a better understanding of the process to be followed to do business with the City of Dayton and also help Vendors or suppliers understand the role and responsibility involved in purchasing goods and services by the City of Dayton. The City encourages all companies to register as vendors and to participate in the competitive process initiated by the City to enable its effective and efficient operation.

Re: Economic Development Administration (EDA) through the U.S. Department of Commerce Federal Funding Opportunity for The FY 2023 Disaster Supplemental (EDA-Disaster-2023) program(s)

Below are the documents for the City of Dayton’s Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) for engineering/architectural/environmental services. These services are being solicited to assist the City of Dayton in its application and project implementation of a contract, if awarded from the EDA-Disaster-2023 program(s). The City of Dayton is considering applying for such funding to support activities in the City of Dayton.

Multiple contracts may be awarded as a result of this solicitation.

The deadline for submission of SOQs is 2:00 pm on Monday, September 18, 2023. It is the responsibility of the submitting entity to ensure that the SOQ is received in a timely  manner. SOQs received after the deadline will not be considered for award, regardless of whether or not the delay was outside the control of the submitting provider. The City of Dayton reserves the right to negotiate with any and all service providers submitting timely SOQs.
