The TIRZ was created on May 28, 2018 with the purpose and intent of helping to develop an undeveloped area of the city. This board consist of 9 Board of Directors. They are responsible for overseeing the Zone and making recommendations to the Dayton City Council. Board members serve 2 year terms. Eight (8) members are appointed by the city council and one (1) member may be appointed by Liberty County.
